About you

Here’s a bit more who we're looking for:
- You’re senior in your career with at least 7 years of project/program management experience.
- You have experience managing government-funded projects, working with government funding partners and stakeholders, and you have managed a project from signing to final reporting.
- You’re an excellent communicator, able to share ideas clearly, gain consensus with groups, and keep everyone on the same page.You’re incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- You’re reliable, and make sure that every project you manage is managed with the highest standard of delivery.
- You care a lot about student experience, and you’ll go above and beyond to help Growclass students and alumni succeed personally and professionally.
- You're tech savvy, and you know how to automate parts of your work to streamline processes and make things move faster.
- You see yourself as part of the team, and you’re always looking for ways to make everyone around you better.
- You’re excited about collaborating with partners to make big things happen.
- You’re a project finisher, the person who always led group projects in school, making sure everything got done, and done really well.
Exciting to have:
- You have a deep network in Canadian industries, specifically AI, tech, or agriculture.
- You have experience leading AI projects, or working on AI teams.You are deep in the AI world, up on all new developments and experimenting with new tools daily.
- You have experience in student success or student experience.
Responsibilities
Project management
- Plan, execute, and oversee special government programs, ensuring all deliverables and reporting submissions are done to the highest standard, and met on time.
- Act as the main point of contact for the project leadership, coordinating between internal teams and external partners.
- Assist in finding government partnership opportunities and working with the team to build funding proposals, collecting key information, letters of support, and partnerships for future opportunities.
Student success
- Track student progress and manage student expectations from onboarding to graduation.
- Maintain meticulous records to track student progress and outcomes, including collecting testimonials, and student stories.
- Recommend and coordinate additional resources including coaching, mock interviewing, and employment resources for students who need extra support.
- Develop and nurture relationships with students alumni as an integral part of the Growclass community.
- Become a warm and helpful presence in the community, offering support and help through our Slack and Matcha channels.
Reporting
- Create and submit detailed, accurate reports to government stakeholders, showcasing the program’s success.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize data to measure impact and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
Partnership development and management
- Build and maintain relationships with partner organizations to support program delivery, including networking into key industries to support our student goals.
- Identify and develop new partnerships where needed to expand the program’s reach into geographies, and industries. Collaborate with partners to ensure smooth execution and aligned goals.
